I wouldn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes...
...but, um, yeah...

WHITE CHRISTMAS! Here in north-western Rhineland, a place where such a phenomenon is practically unheard of.

There are probably some unwritten laws of nature prohibiting such a thing and now we are all doomed. Not sure whether this is brilliant or scary.

I'll better go out and fetch the newspaper. As long as I can still get through to my mailbox, because, yes, it's still snowing.

Oh, wait! Cavendish is going out and he's taking pictures. He can fetch my newspaper, can't he?

A merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate! :-D

Enjoy the snow. After all our snow this year it doesn't look now as if we will have a white Christmas, though I must say I'm not too upset about that.

Hope you both have a lovely Christmas ♥

Merry Christmas! Our massive amount of snow has almost thawed and left some strategically patches of black ice behind. :)

There is some leftover snow here as well but alas at the start of the week the temperature went up, it rained for two days straight and most of the lovely white was swept away. However, it's supposed to snow later today...

Merry christmas!

White Christmas indeed.*g* It's still snowing hereabouts as well. I can't think of any December with that much snow, certainly not around Christmas. And funnily enough, while you hear all the other 'usual suspects' (in terms of Christmas songs) playing in markets, somehow 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas' seems to be conspiciously absent ...*g*

Happy Christmas to you and Cavendish! And all best wishes for 2011.:)
